we did an impromptu trip to Oberwiesenthal for a two day skiing adventure. Having spent the last 4 times in the Austrian Alps for skiing I’m surprised how good the Fichtelberg ski area is. Of course the slopes are only half as long as in the alps. But for a short trip that’s just enough.
